More boots on the ground in Ol Moran but more houses torched

The more the government talks and threatens the so-called bandits with dire consequences, the more houses are torched. What is happening in Ol moran is an act of lawlessness perpetrated by probably known people with known intentions.

Do you remember the entire country is under 10:00 pm to 4:00 am curfew? Who are these courageous men who are roaming the villages at night causing untold havoc and mayhem on poor villagers? Where do they get their authority?

Yesterday, Mr. Natembeya shocked the country when he said, that the guns that these bandits are holding are not ordinary guns. He further said, ” These hooligans or internal terrorists are armed with M16 and other heavy artillery” The question someone can ask is, how did these arms get into the hands of such merciless criminals?

As the government puts up a bright face by convincing the villagers to return to their homes, reports are emerging online suggesting that yesterday, more houses were torched, more property was destroyed and this leaves the government in an awkward position as it tries to explain the deeper problem in Laikipia.

The houses that were torched are in Dam Samaki probably 8 kilometers from Ol’ Moran. Meanwhile, the Interior CS Fred Matiangi is in Ol’ Moran as operation enters day 4.
