The Mp is courting attention to please his party leader and disconcerted Nairobi ODM followers who recently were plotting to relieve him of his chairmanship duties. One thing the Makadara Mp has perfected over the years, is to bully the Luhya community within the City.
The Mp has ignorantly assumed or made assumptions that he carries the community’s interest in his pocket. The Mp cannot explain in plain English, why, despite him being the so called ODM chairman in Nairobi, the minority community has emerged with more political seats than the Luhya community he keeps giving matching orders to hang around and within ODM.
The Makadara Mp has not championed for the Luhya community cause or interests within ODM yet at each and every electioneering period without shame he takes to the podium to remind them how they should stay in ODM. For what? To whose benefit?
A spot check at the composition of the Nairobi county Assembly and ODM leadership in the House, you wont be shocked to learn that, most committee seats for the minority party in the House are held by the minority of ODM leaving Luhya leaders relegated on the trenches. The self proclaimed Luhya leader in ODM in the city, says nothing on the subject matter.
Attacking Hon.Sakaja for supporting Hon. Mudavadi one wonders where does the Makadara Mp get his logic. How does he arrive at such an inverted, corrupted and polluted conclusion? The Mp has chosen to wantonly break the constitution vowed to protect.
By attacking Hon.Sakaja and verbally forcing the Luhya community to stay in ODM, the Makadara legislator appears to want Luhyas to stay in ODM and Hon. Sakaja not to support Hon. Mudavadi for his personal gain and not that of the community. So his gains are more important.
Hon. Sakaja is a leader and has a right to support whoever he deems fit to support. Who gave the Makadara Mp prefect mandate? Who tasked him to qualify who should support Hon. Mudavadi and who Luhyas should support?
The Makadara Mp is politically incorrect, becoming a dwarf within his constituency as time ticks by, when he mulls over 2022 outcome, fear grips him by the throat, and he erroneously concludes that by projecting his frustrations on Hon. Sakaja, Hon. Mudavadi and the entire Luhya community, he will survive the chopping board.
Someone should remind him that in 2022, with God’s blessing, Makadara constituency is for ANC to lose. Mr. Imbale is ready and gearing to send the former Mayor home packing come 2022. Mr. Imbale is much organised, strategic and networked. How the current Mp plans to beat him at the ballot is next to impossible unless he applies Haiti powers.
And for Hon. Mudavad, it is in the best interest of the outgoing Makadara Mp to know that, the rubicon has been crossed, just like how the roman leader did. Hon. Mudavadi has no turning back gear, so people like Makadara Mp should look for alternatives to stay politically correct and relevant before 2022 elections.
By heaping his ballooning frustrations to Hon. Mudavadi is and will be a lame excuse to say the least. What has he done for the great people of Makadara for the last five years? What track record does he leave for the great people of Makadara? Mr. Imbale will drain the Swamp, let him prepare for reelection with plan B in mind, otherwise Makadara is one term. Records are there as facts.
