Suleiman Maleya former Ingwe tresurer: Musonye should not export cecafa failures to Fkf.

Former Cecafa boss Nick Musonye has declared his bid to vie for FKF in the forthcoming elections. This has ignited a conversation among soccer lovers who now question his true intentions and dedication towards local soccer.

A former Afc leopards treasurer has demanded that Musonye publishes his achievements at Cecafa and how he has helped grow local soccer.

” Before Musonye thinks of going for the Fkf President, let him tell us the achievements he has achieved for the last 22 years he has been at helm of CECAFA. He hasn’t even made any effort of starting a youth centre of academy within his home area KK. No country within the CECAFA has ever qualified to the world cup for the last 22 yrs.

He’s been a bussing Kenyan’s that we don’t attend football matches other than drinking alcohol. He’ll do a lot of work in convincing we people who vote at the national level otherwise I wish him well. From international to National?” Hamisi quiped.

It also seems Musonye’s past utterrances have come back to torment him.

#Kenyans are gossippers and beer lovers~Nick Musonye cecafa boss.

“Cecafa tournaments had not taken place in this country for 14 years. Against advice of other members, we pushed for having the tournament in Kenya because we felt we needed to encourage them to host tournaments. But clearly this was a move that entangled us with a lot ofdifficulties” said
Musonye during a press conference at the Media Centre at Nyayo Stadium.

#It was a mistake to bring cecafa to Kenya.

“But I think this was a big mistake. It’s a waste of time bringing a competition to people who won’t watch. I will never fight for any competition to come to this country again” continued Musonye.

“Kenyans don’t want to come to the stadium and those who come want free entry,” said an angered Musonye
“Kenyans pretend to be football fans, after failing to turn out to watch matches at the Cecafa Senior Challenge, it’s a big failure in terms of attendance. It’s a waste of time bringing a competition to people who won’t watch, I will never fight for any competition to come to this country again” concluded Musonye.

Musonye further declared that running soccer in this country was such a harculean task, by declaring his availability for the top seat is he indirecy saying that Mwendwa has tried restoring soccer fortunes and providing a conducive environment for him to run? If yes then why not let his namesake Nick Mwendwa to finnish the good work he has started?

Other than Musonye, Sam Nyamweya, Former Vihiga governor Moses Akaranga and a Former st Anthony’s Boys principle Cosmos Nabulungo are angling to replace Nick Mwendwa
