Empowerment is key to liberating our people from the yoke of poverty-Norah Bosibori.

Norah Bosibori or simply Boss wa Dago as she is fondly referred to by her adherents is out on a mission to help change the social economic landscape in Dagoretti North.

The budding politician is at it again trodding the streets of Dagoretti North with  one message, change!change!chaange!

Bosibori’s attempt to become MP Dagoretti North suffered  a heavy blow when the ODM party handed a direct ticket to the eventual winner Hon Elachi.

This never dampened her spirit and in her own words, she quickly moved on.

Never be afraid to start all over again. No matter how many times you fall, dust off and try. You are a child of the universe, just like the trees and the stars, life will sway you left and right but the stars will align and your path will be clear” she says.

Bosibori terms the setback in 2022 as a minor drawback that has done little to unsettle her resolve of seeing Dagoretti North become better.

Leadership would achieve greater goals if the people understood the concept of empowerment~Bosibori.

“Rather than have fish given to you  , it is better to acquire the mindset, the skills and the tools to go for your own fish. That way , you become self reliant and independent. Empowerment is only possible when the  people believe in their capacity to change their own situations. Where capacity is lacking,  programs should be initiated to enhance it.”

Norah Bosibori freely mingles with the youth in dagoreti North spreading the gospel of change and empowerment.

To emphasize on this, Bosibori has not only starred the self realization and awareness debate, but gone further to financially  aid young and upcoming businessmen and ladies in their small businesses.

So far over 20 businesses have benefitted from her financially, sound business advice and emotional encouragement.

You don’t earn loyalty in a day. You earn loyalty day- by- day.” – Jeffrey Gitomer will always brighten her day. Bosibori says that to become loyal is not a day’s work.

She further believes that politicians should stop manipulating the masses and dividing them on tribal and social classes.

The cruel manipulation of the poor by the political class must stop. Look, politicians are heavily funded by the so called Oligarchs, the powerful people with the means of production…the Bourgeoisie. Fact is; all policies have to be favorable to the Oligarchs not Wanjiku, no matter the political side you support. Let’s shift the conversation. Economic liberation can only happen when the people are enlightened and organized. Viva!” Bosibori
