Ploy to kill political parties unwelcome~Kidake Alex.

In other news, Mr Kidake has lamented the plans to shut down the so called small parties.

In a statement to newsrooms, Kidake termed the move as insolitude and an affluence to democracy.

It has come to attention that the inner cores of the constraints of power brokers are after the political parties act. There is a plan to close down all political parties with less than 24 offices, at least one in every county across the state. Among senior political parties, ANC and FORD K, do not qualify to have offices across the country.
ANC has 5, FORD K has 17.
If this has to happen, we are only going to have 2 political parties forcing others to join the ruling party
.

This is an act of insolitude. Kenyans have a right to join their political party of choice without coercion.

Mr Kidake ran for the Sabatia parliamentary seat where he was trounced by Hon Sloya Clement of UDA.

Through his Kidake Foundation, Mr Kidake has kept a close link with the voters in Vihiga and pundits believe that he may give a stab at the governorship in 2027 once Ottichilo retires
