Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru issued a statement insinuating the Deputy President William Ruto was behind her impeachment woes.
Governor Ann Waiguru is facing an impeachment motion, the motion was tabled by Mutira MCA Kinyua Wangui .
The MCA motion tabled at the Kirinyaga Assembly accused Governor Ann Waiguru for gross violation of the Constitution, abuse of office and gross misconduct.
The Deputy President insiders have come out defending their boss, an anonymous source said DP William Ruto sees Governor Waiguru as a non starter in politics. Infact he went on to say the Deputy President is waiting for Waiguru to send a thank you note for her 2017 Jubilee nomination certificate.
He went on to say if it was not for the DP William Ruto investment in Kirinyaga Politics in 2016-2017 Martha Karua would have trounced Governor Ann Waiguru.
The source said, Governor Ann Waiguru at one time was nearly impeached from her post as the CS for Devolution but the Deputy President saved her ass.
