Amani National Congress party (ANC) a constituent party of the ruling Kenya Kwanza coalition has unveiled its Nairobi team kick starting the party’s mass recruitment slated for January next year.
Speaking early today at the party headquarters after holding a brief meeting with the new team, Hon Omboko Milemba the party’s SG said that ANC was in the process of reorganizing which shall enable it compete with other political parties for the available democratic space not only in Nairobi but in the entire country.
Hon Milemba who is also a member of parliament for Emuhaya constituency and National Chairman Kuppet said that he had immense trust in the new team to lead the parry in Nairobi.
“As your party SG, I have no doubt that we have come forth with a formidable team that is dedicated and loyal to the party ideals and ideologies. As we move forward, I want you to fly the party flag with discipline and utmost respect to what we stand for as a party. AS we head into the forthcoming election cycle, it is my prayer that we shall transform this party into a bigger movement” added the party SG.
Johnstone Ishuga takesover as Nairobi county ANC Chairman.
As part of the changes in the party, city businessman Johnstone Ishuga now becomes the new ANC party Nairobi county. Mr Ishuga an astute mobilizer takes over from Brian Mulama who transitioned to the Nairobi county government as CEC Mobility and works.

“We want to bring new energies in the way ANC party is going to transact its businesses in this city.We are set to play our democratic role in helping expand the democratic space in this nation. ANC is the party of choice and we want to ready ourselves for the forthcoming elections in 2027. Our presence must not only be heard of but must be seen and felt” said the new ANC party Nairobi county boss.

Hon Awil Aden Ahmed who flew the ANC flag in 2022 as Senator Wajir county has been electrd as the new party SG for Nairobi county. Hon Aden is a party loyalist who has stood with the party since its formation. Mr Aden brings onboard a wealth of experience borne out of his many years as a city businessman and resident.

The position of the Nairobi county women league chairperson has been placed in the hands of Madam Nancy Mwata Lesara.

Nancy is a long time political associate of Hon Mudavadi since the UDF days.
“I want to thank our loyal party members in Nairobi county for believing in me by tasking me with the daunting task of serving the party as ANC party Nairobi county women league chairperson. Iam full of confidence that we shall steer this party to new heights” added Mwata.
Other ANC partyNairobi county leaders include Mr Justus Kinyua who shall serve with the chairman in an assistant capacity, Bishop Mwaka and the Nairobi county youth league chairman Mr John Abukuse.
