Boost for AFC Leopards as Captain Kamura extends his stay by two seasons.

AFC Leopards  defender Robinson Kamura has extended his stay at the Club for a further two seasons.

The defender has put to rest rumors that he was heading to Zambia. The star player had put up a Facebook post which he had hinted at goodbyes.

‘’ goodbyes are bad’ he wrote which attracted a myriad of responses from club fans.

The defender who joined Leopards in 2017 and was a key member of the squad that lifted the 2017 FKF Shield Cup will be key once as Leopards make a title charge this season.

The captain penned a new deal that will see him stay with Leopards till the end of the 2021/2022 season.

Jaffery Owiti and Yusuf Mainge here to stay…..

According to information posted on the official club website www.afcleopards.co.ke, the two star players have re committed to the club.

‘AFC Leopards is delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement with Jaffari  Owiti which sees him extend his stay with AFC Leopards for two more seasons.’’ The message read in part.

  ” feel great again to be part of the team. AFC Leopards has always been my home which made it easy on the decision about renewing my contract. My target is to give my best and help the team win the league title and other cups” a delighted Owiti said.

To the fans, I thank you for your continued support and I hope this season you will support us even more despite your absence from the stadium (due to COVID-19). We are hoping to bring smiles to our fans with  title this season.

Yusuf is here to stay…

The right back signed a new deal that which keeps him at Leopards for two more seasons that runs to the end of the 2021/2022 season.

” I feel great. This Club  trusted in me while I had just left school, gave me the opportunity to  play at the highest level as well as allowed me to go to Europe on loan and learn some more’ Mainge said.

I owe Leopards and I hope that during my stay here I can help the team achieve something great. We have a fantastic group and together I am confident that we will achieve our goals. Representing the nation in CAF will be a top achievement for this group and I believe we can.

Mainge joined Leopards in 2018 and has continued his development into a formidable defender for the Club.

Afc leopards will be playing the red hot KCB FC over the weekend in a match the wounded leopard must win to restore its rightful place on the chart.

According to the Team Manager Mr Tom Juma who is currently deputizing the stand in coach Anthony Modo Kimani, the squad is ready and willing to roll and apart from Harrison Mwendwa, all the players are fine and raring to go.
