Siaya county has the following and but….It has only 10 beds, did the president mean to embarrass these people?
- Former PM Raila Odinga
- Raphael Tuju CS and Jubilee SG.
- Omamo CS
- Dr. Amoth brother to Gnr Rasanga.
- Orengo minority senate leader.
- Opiyo Wandayi PAC chair.
- Ambassador Ogego
- Joe Okudo PS
- Magoha CS.
- Gnr Connell Rasanga
- Otiende Amolo MP
But sadly, these people have not invested in it. Hospitals in this county are poorly equipped, roads are impassable and yet it holds imminent men and women who serve in senior positions in government.
This has caught the eye of the president who has called out Siaya more than once in his speech. He has shifted focus on poor preparations and actually blamed Siaya for having a paltry 10 beds capacity in the entire county thus forcing him to use it as an example of bad preparedness.
Why would this county boast of these names but in their home county things seems not to be working. Is this a good example of good governance?
