Westlands leaders unite in mourning Tony Waswa Wetangula a brother to Hon Tim Wanyonyi.
Westlands constituency is mourning the sudden demise of Mr Tony Waswa Wetangula a brother to area Mp Hon Tim Wanyonyi and Sen Moses Wetangula.
Hon Alvin Palapala Mca Kitusuru.
“I will miss Tonny alot, he was a peace maker and he was the only person we all turned to when Tim was not available. His death has dealt a big blow to the entire Westlands community Rest in peace Tonny.” Palapala said.
Hon Paul Shilaho Kangemi Mca.
” We lack words to describe the loss. We will miss Tony but we pray for his soul to rest in peace” said Mahamba
Hamisi Maleya.Area leader and businessman. “I mourn a friend and a brother in Tony,. He was so dedicated to serving with Hon Tim something that we will greatly miss. We are sad that Tony left during this covid 19 pandemic denying us a chance to give him a befitting sendoff. Go well Tony” Suleiman Hamisi .

Reigning Miss Westlands beauty queen Miss Terry Mayunzu.
“As a young person in Westlands, I mourn the demise of Tony who was like a father to all of us. Being Mheshimiwa’s assistant, Tony was always ready to listen to us, guide us and whenever we had an issue that required Mheshimiwa’s attention, Tony never hesitated to put us through to Hon Tim.
I remember when we held our beauty contest in Westlands, Tony worked closely with us to ensure it succeeded. I pray for his family and especially our area Mp Hon Tim for God to give us grace during this trying moment.” Terry said.
Other youth leaders who paid glowing tribute include Moses Esemele who eulogised Tony as a jovial soul who never harboured grudges.
On his part Brian Khaguli a youth leader in Westlands said ” In Tony I have lost a friend and a brother. Tony will be remembered as a right hand man fof Hon Tim who valued service to humanity” Brian said.
Tonny was a personal assistant to Hon Tim Wanyonyi. He succumbed after a short illness at Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi.
The deceased will be buried on 20/5/2020 at his fathers home Mukhweya village of Kabuchai sub county Bungoma
