Aspiring Shinyalu Mp Hon Anthony Lung’aho decries lack of a bridge connecting Shinyalu and Kakamega
Mundulu/Kakamega crossway.
The crossway between Mundulu village and Kakamega town is providing hard times to locals.
Whereas some consider it as more of having fun, but to lots of the people it’s the only means of crossing from Mundulu village into Kakamega after paying a small fee.
To help find a temporary solution, Hon Lung’aho has promised to support them.
” I will be constructing a shade at Muliaro. The shade will act as a waiting Bay and protect the people crossing from heavy rains and the scorching sun.I have also sponsored area people to cross free of charge for a few days as we look for a more permanent solution.” Dr Lung’aho pledged.

The fight against covid 19 remains dear to Hon Lung’aho’s heart. As time allows either personally or through his wife and or friends, he has been extending aid by way of materials to help fight covid 19.
Over the weekend, Madam Hellimina Lung’aho (Mrs) represented Dr Lung’aho in donating non contact infrared body thermometer (Thermo Guns) and Hand sanitizers to several churches around the Constituency starting with Irenji catholic parish in Isukha west ward, Kongoli P. A. G in Murhanda Ward, Township P. A. G in Isukha Central and Masiakali Full Gospel church.
The two items are a requirement for every church before opening its doors. The donation will save faithfuls from unnecessary contributions bearing in mind that our people are economically affected by this pandemic.
“Most of our people in local churches have financial challenges and the thermo guns and sanitizers will go a long way in ensuring they actively engage in combating covid 19. I intend to keep supporting my people in any way possible as the Lord enables ” Dr Lung’aho said.
