Could this be a sign of the impending collapse of Nyamweya’s case stopping Fkf elections? Well this was the question on many soccer lovers minds yesterday.
Lawyer Amos Otieno has taken a parallel position against his client former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Sam Nyamweya to present his nomination papers eyeing an elective post in the forthcoming federation’s polls.
Contempt card!
Otieno who is currently in court appearing for Nyamweya in a case against the current office and FKF Electoral board has presented his papers seeking clearance to vie for the FKF Nairobi East chairmanship.
Otieno who is the current chairman of the Nairobi FKF sub-branch league team Babadogo United will be giving a second stab after losing in the first elections that were nullified by the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) after losing to his Mbotela kamaliza FC counterpart George Onyango aka TM.

The controversial lawyer is also on record for having represented the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in a case against FKF declaring Gor Mahia as the 2019/2020 Kenya’s top-flight league champions.
The lawyer popularly referred to as ‘Wakili’ in soccer and legal circles will once again be battling Onyango who is the current FKF Nairobi East vice Chairman to succeed Councilor Michael ‘Chair’ Ouma Majua who will not be seeking re-election after opting for the FKF National Executive Committee (NEC) Nairobi representative.
However, Wakili remained tight lipped when members of the media sought his word after presenting his papers to the FKF Electoral Board chaired by Kentice Tikolo.
Meanwhile, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Electoral Board has on, Tuesday, August 25, 2020, started receiving nomination forms from aspirants seeking elective positions at the county level.
The Board received forms from aspirants drawn from Mombasa, West Pokot, Nairobi East, Taita Taveta, and Trans Nzoia counties on day one.
