Hon. Yusuf Hassan mp for Kamukunji has called on Eastleigh imams to close all mosques!

The Kamukunji member of parliament has of today told all imams to shut down communal worship within Kamukunji constituency with immediate effect. In a published tweet he said,

It’s a tough question to ask an imam. But tough times demand tough decisions. We need to act to stop the spread of the killer #coronavirus. I’m calling our Eastleigh imams to immediately stop all communal worship in our mosques. Follow the example of the imams of MECCA & MEDINA.

He said this while president Uhuru was leading the nation in prayers. Prayers have been accepted as a form of communication with our creator in times of difficulty. We don’t know if the imams will heed the call or will continue with communal prayers.
