Kidake challenge cup winners to walk away with 1M shillings: Kidake foundation.

The Vihiga county gubernatorial aspirant Mr. Alex Kidake Malova is a man with a vision to improve lives. Besides having different packages for different members of the larger Vihiga county, Mr. Kidake has unleashed a big one that will benefit the youth.

The Kidake foundation has organized a major soccer tournament that will run across Vihiga county. Speaking to www.goodmorningKenya.com, Mr. Kidake said that his intention is to open up Vihiga county soccer talent to the outside world.

‘’ Our county has several talented youths currently playing in nondescript leagues in our county. These young boys and girls are hungry and ready to conquer the world but are having simple challenges that if we can pull together we can sort them up’’ Kidake said.

Currently, Vihiga county has two premier league clubs featuring in both KPL and women’s Premier league namely the Vihiga United and Vihiga Queens.

While confirming that plans are already at an advanced stage to roll out the extravaganza, Mr. Kissinger who is chairing the tournament’s committee disclosed that registration is underway and several teams that have so far confirmed their participation have started receiving soccer jerseys and balls courtesy of the Kidake foundation.

The tournament will run from January to June where teams from the Ward level will participate together with other established County teams. We shall have both male and female teams participating and a cash prize award of 1000000 MILLION shillings will be awarded to team number 1, team number 2 will get a cash prize of 500,000Ksh, team number 3 will get a cash prize of KSH 250,000Ksh while team number 4 will get a cash prize of 100 000Ksh (in both male and female categories)

‘’Already uniforms are being distributed to local teams in Vihiga and we urge teams that haven’t registered for the tournament to get in touch with Kidake Foundation immediately for registration. The tournament will also be used to scout for talent and the best players in the male and female categories will get a chance to be enrolled in the KIDAKE FOUNDATION SPORTS ACADEMY, the selected team will have a rare opportunity to play with a team from Turkey that will visit the country later on this year. This is a rare opportunity for our young people to showcase their talents and shine, Vihiga’s got talent….these are very interesting times to be in’’ Mr. Kissinger said.

Mr. Kidake has further confirmed that former soccer big wigs from across the continent and across the world will also grace the event to give motivation to the young and upcoming players.

‘’Plans are underway to have some of the games renowned soccer big wigs grace the event to help in imparting skills and motivating the players as the tournament takes place. We just don’t want to hold this tournament just like it has been done before. We want our youths to leave the tournament well equipped for the huge task ahead. I want to call upon all those clubs currently engaged in soccer activities in our villages to take advantage of this and plug in for the good of our future.’’

Mr Kidake has lined up several engagements as the countdown to 2022 approaches.

Kidake will be running against the incumbent Hon Otichillo, Sabatia Mp Hon Agoi, Vihiga Senator Hon Khaniri and former governor Hon Akaranga.

 Mr Kidake who is the patron of Kidake foundation is a city based businessman with vast interests in real estate, property management, distribution and also has interests in the financial sector where together with his wife Mrs Muthoni Kidake run Stara Microfinance that is empowering women across the nation.

Mr Kidake is also famed for being the first Kenyan to supply electric powered motorbike which is so far doing well across the nation.
