Nairobi Jubilee Gubernatorial aspirant the
Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president Richard Ngatia has insisted that it is only Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Raila Odinga can be trusted to continue with the development legacy that President Uhuru Kenyatta has set.
According to Ngatia, the President has set the country on a development pedestal and as President Uhuru’s second and final term comes to an end after the August 9th general elections, Kenyans have only Raila as the person they can trust to continue with the development legacy of the Jubilee administration.
Speaking during the Azimio la Umoja caravan that continued with the week long popularization campaigns in Ruaraka, Korogocho, Kariobangi and Mathare, Ngatia said that President Uhuru Kenyatta has left a mark in all the regions of Kenya with tangible development projects across the country.
“President Uhuru as done a lot for Kenya in all the regions including his Central Kenya backyard,”Ngatia said.
“Uhuru has build more kilometers of road compared to any other President who come before him,” he continued.
“Raila is the only one who can be trusted to continue the Uhuru legacy of more roads, affordable healthcare, free education,” Ngatia said.
Ngatia, a business tycoon who is seeking to be elected as the fourth governor of Nairobi said that with the infrastructure development that President Uhuru has left behind, the economy of the country will grow with much ease under Raila Odinga.
Raila who is a seasoned politician is also a prominent businessman and industrialist who owns companies that employ hundreds of people.
Ngatia said that Raila has won the trust of prominent global businessmen and industrialists who support his candidature and are keen in investing in Kenyan once Raila is elected president.
