Nyamweya and Musonye to boycott FKF elections. What next for the two veteran soccer administrators?

Soccer lovers across the country are waiting with a bated breath to hear from Big Sam Nyamweya and    the former CECAFA boss Nick Musonye.

For almost a year now, FKF has been trying to hold elections but the Nick Mwendwa led team has been faced with several court cases either stopping or nullyfying elections.

One Sam Nyamweya has been a constant denominator and the face of those agitating for change but not on the ballot but in the corridors of justice.

The National Election Management Board a body tasked with overseeing the elections  has been receiving papers of all those interested in various positions.

Today the 31/8/2020 was a day set for those contesting the presidency to be cleared. Four candidates have so far presented their papers as below.

Nyamweya and Musonye keep off.
Many soccer lovers are dumbfolded with Nyamweya and Musonye’s no show at Kandanda house with many speculating that the duo may be moving to court to stop the elections once again.

Alila drops out of the race.
Former Nyanza Nec member Mr Tom Alila after weighing all odds decided to pull out and instead vie as Nairobo’s Nec member. This new development therefore means Nick Mwendwa the incumbent is likely to win with overwhelming majority should the polls hold
