It seems that the war of words between Atwoli and Mudavadi is not gonna end soon.
The two sons of Mulembe have been taking a swipe at each other ever since Mudavadi declared his stand against Azimio la Umoja which is fronting Raila Odinga for president.
While speaking in Mombasa, Atwoli termed Mudavadi a weak leader who cannot stand on his own.
Atwoli further took a swipe at Mudavadi for disrespecting Uhuru despite him footing his late mother’s burial expenses last year.
In a swift rejoinder, the Amani national Congress boss has responded to Atwoli terming him a coward who always hides behind the president to abuse people.
“Leave me and my dead mother alone! I joined politics in 1989 and Atwoli has not contributed a dime either to my success or failure. I have been a minister and a vice president of this country. What has Atwoli contributed in all that? quiped Mudavadi.
Mudavadi further took issue with Atwoli for what he termed as disrespect to women of this country.
Leave the women of this country alone!
“Atwoli has developed a penchant of disrespecting women of this country. This is not what is expected of an elder of Atwoli’s calibre. Leave Ruto’s mother alone, leave my mother alone let her rest in peace. The women you keep on abusing are mothers, sisters and even your grandaughters. If you have anything against me, be man enough and face me direct” added Mudavadi.
The A.N.C boss was speaking in Khwisero as he popularized the Kenya Kwanza coalition in the company of Wetangula and DP Ruto.
The Kenya Kwanza brigade is in the former western province marketing their Uchumi kwanza pesa mfukoni mantra.
