The coronavirus has shutdown the world economy, borders closed. Nairobi the hub of business in East and Central Africa is facing an implosion hence the need by the Nairobi Governor to curtail the spread of the virus.
The Governor who survived am impeachment motion that failed to be tabled at the county assembly, is now on the streets of Nairobi with water bowsers and fire trucks disinfecting the streets.
The Governor is urging Nairobi residents to maintain high standards of hygiene and observe social distancing as a way of curtailing spread of the deadly coronavirus.
So far the Governor has disinfected bus parks and other busy areas withing the CBD.
The exercise will be carried out in all the 85 Wards. Nairobi County has registered the highest number of coronavirus patients.
