This was the rallying call by the Azimio la Umoja Nairobi gubernatorial favourite Tim Wanyonyi on Monday, April 4 as he rallied Mathare residents behind the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader’s State House bid.

Hon Wanyonyi, who was joined in the day-long campaign event by Mathare MP Antony Oluoch, said Kenya is ready for a Raila presidency as he is the only leader capable of building on what President Uhuru has achieved.

“I will be the fourth Governor of Nairobi. And I want to change the lives of our youths, when I become the governor, I want to correct issue that have gone wrong in Nairobi, and I want you to allow me to work for Baba and for Nairobians,” he rallied the thousands of residents who came out to show their support.

He asked city residents not to burden themselves trying to pick their next Governor as he was the best of them all.

On his part, Mr Oluoch rallied his constituents behind Mr Odinga as President and Mr Wanyonyi for Nairobi governor saying the two leaders share a common trait – servant leadership.

The legislator called on Kenyans to shun divisive politics urging them to vote for leaders who peach peace, unity and patriotism.

At a stop over address at Kiamaiko trading centre, Mr Wanyonyi said he would help spur business growth for Nairobi people and ensure traders enjoy doing business in the city.

I want to assure residents of Kiamaiko that Nairobi is for all of us. And if you do business and have your residence, you must be assured that you are home,” he said
