Kakamega senators’ dad Mr David Malala today came under heavy attack from members of Anc party. This was after he made some remarks on the late Hon Albert Wetundu a former Mca who was buried today in Kakamega.

It is the above post that opened a pandora’s box with everybody coming for his (Meja Malala’s) neck and in the process throwing some jibes at Kakamega senator Hon Malala.
“Huyu mzee ni kama anatumia mihadarati”( this old man is on drugs) an irate member wrote.
But it was one Johnson Litema who came out guns blazing he wrote
-” Meja it is only luos who can do what you are doing. First you sired children for your son who cannot father children. Which luhya does that?
You and your son blackmailed Oparanya until he paid your son’s dowry.
The house your son lives in was built by Ruto. As if that is not enough, as an old man, you divorced your lovely wife and married your son’s side chick.
Johnson Litema continues in dressing down Malala and goes ahead to call him and his son a Luo who stays in Kakamega. He goes further to say the Malala’s being Luos grabbed Wetangula’s position at the senate. (Orengo replaced Wetangula as minority leader with Malala deputising Orengo).
At this juncture Meja Malala jumped in and clarified that indeed his son comes from Shikomari village in Nabakholo area. At this point Litema was burning with rage and added this ” Your son senator Malala has injected himself with cancerous slimpossible steroids after stealing power from Wetangula and now the entire senate leadership is from Siaya” He said in referrence to Malala’s new body shape.
Luhyas residing in Kakamega have opened up a can of worms questioning if truly Senator Malala is Luhya.
Senator Malala is in a battle to inherit Governor Oparanya seat but is facing a backlash because of his abrasive chest thumping politics.
Whatever happened it was wrong for snr Malala to mock the dead. It is not only un African but immoral for the dead tell no tales. Kakamegans have vowed to revisit this in 2022.
