Josiah Kiweu: A chief in Kawangware area serving with passion and dedication

Some people treat civil service as a means to just work and get paid.
Chief Josiah Kiweu of Kawangware area in Dagoretti sub county is not your ordinary chief in khaki suit shouting orders as he brandish his swagger stick.

Mr Kiweu or simply Bwana chief as the youth in the area fondly refer to him is a father figure who cares for his subjects well.

With unemployent taking toll on the youths and many turning into drugs, chief Kiweu has taken it upon himself to help the youth eke a living .

“Iam first of all a father, a citizen of this country and an administrator. It pains me to see our young people waste away in drugs and other anti social behaviours. That is why I have been approaching them and helping them according to their needs. Like these young men all they needed was a handcart/mkokoteni and some jerricans to help them start water vending business. Iam happy today I gave it to them and they are happy. Now they will be busy and off drugs and robberies thus making my work easier and as a parent even more happy” Chief Kiweu told www.goodmorningKenya.

The youth were all praises for the local administrator whom they described as a caring father.
