It is about time Luhyas started thinking bigger~Kidake Alex.

City business mogul and Vihiga county gubernatorial hopeful Hon Kidake Alex stirred up the crowd when he challenged luhyas to claim their rightful position in this nation.

Iam so graciously honored to be speaking here as your chief guest. As a businessman I understand pretty well what a united people can achieve. As you come together, let us also pull our resources together for a meaningful economic gain. It will be good to see TUFA transform into a sacco and a bank soon” said Kidake.

During the event, politics too took center stage as Kidake boldy challenged the Luhya nation to produce a presidential candidate in 2027.

I will personally donate 200Million towards Hon Mudavadi’s presidential bid if he vies in 2027~Kidake.

The crowd broke into cheers as the Vihiga gubernatorial hopeful challenged Prime CS Hon Mudavadi to throw his hat in the ring in 2027.

“I will personally donate 200 Million  to help my brother and good friend Hon Mudavadi to contest for the presidency. It is about time our able sons and daughters aimed higher and dreamt of leading this country. Should my two elder brothers Hon Wetangula and Hon Mudavadi make themselves unavailable  in 2027, then I will as well offer myself for the top seat as the sole Mulembe nation candidate” added Kidake.

On the high cost of living, Hon Kidake blamed the government for over burdening the already burdened mwananchi.

The high cost of living brought about by high taxes have chased away investors forcing companies to close down rendering our people jobless. The government of President Ruto should do everything to reverse this worrying trend. The cost of living should be reviewed immediately as a matter of national concern” continued Mr Kidake

Mr Kidake further lamented the hiring regime by the Kenya Kwanza government where job opportunities tend to favour only one part of the country.

“We have seen government jobs being dished to only one section of the country and whenever we ask our big two ie Mudavadi and Wetangula we are told we dint vote Kenya Kwanza.  This nonsense must stop. Kenya belongs to all of us. The housing issue too is an unnecessary burden, Kenyans need jobs  not houses. Give Kenyans jobs and let them buy houses on their own.

Kidake has been traversing Vihiga county launching several projects in his bid to replace governor Ottichilo who is due to retire in 2027.

Under Kidake Foundation, youths have been empowered to venture into music and businesses. The Foundation is also sponsoring several needy students to persue further studies in higher learning institutions across the country.

“My Tiriki people here in the city, tell your brothers and sisters back home that I Kidake Alex aka Simba ya Vihiga will be the next governor once Hon Ottichilo retires. The time to bring about change in Vihiga is here with us. Trust me to bring that desired change in Vihiga” concluded Kidake.

Kidake will have to face off with Makadara law maker Hon Aladwa, Hon Adagala current woman rep, Emuhaya MP Omboko Milemba who have all declared interest in Vihiga gubernatorial race.

Kidake donated 50 000ksh to the TUFA kitty and promised to help them as they grow
