Nick Mwendwa thinks ruling was meant to finish him and resuscitate Nyamwaya

According to Mwendwa insiders,  many of the decisions made by the SDT were not made to help the game but settle scores and actually rearrange interests. The old guards are in this game forever and they don’t want to retire.

Take for example, during the proceedings of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) case against the Sports Registrar, Gilbert Moore Titus (GMT) Ottieno was seated together with the jury despite him not being a member of the panel, his presence raised eyebrows, the insiders are asking, what was he doing and what was his role?

They claim the ruling came at a time Mathare United Chairman Bob Munro a close ally of Ottieno joined the camp of former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) chairman Sam Nyamweya.
You all know who Bob Munro is and with the term of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) coming to an end in June upon the culmination of the 2019/2020 season, Munro a founder of KPL is a disturbed man and is seeking ways and means of KPL Company remaining as the organiser of football in the country in future by ensuring that the Nick Mwendwa led FKF is not in the office by all means possible.

Bob was recently seen in attendance at the ”stakeholders” meeting organized and convened by Nyamweya which resolved to form and register a parallel football governing body in Kenya.
The accussation are ripe and it is reported during the hearing of the FKF vs Sports Registrar case, the federation’s communication officer publicly confronted Ottieno a member of the tribunal claiming he caught him red-handed trying to coach former FKF Ceo Michael Esakwa and Kenya Football Federation (KFF) vice-chairman Twaha Mbarak on the case.

On the other hand, GMT Ottieno is said to be a bitter man, and his frustration comes from the failure of the federation to recognize the Kenya Football Referees Association (Kefora) which he heads and hence locking it out of the forthcoming federation polls.

The federation ordered Kefora which is entangled in wrangles to put their house in ordered. There are two factions one headed by Ottieno and the other one by former St George’s Primary School headteacher Wycliffe Ogutu and are embroidered in supremmacy battles and have not held elections for over five years.

Ottieno who is also the KPL Head of Technical Services, Safety, and Security is at risk of losing his job when KPL’s term comes to an end in June to take sides. So the issues for Nyamwaya, Bob Munro,  GMT Ottieno and others is to bring instability in the management of soccer in the country for their own selfish interests, the source said.
