Arsenal Open Talks with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Šeško – Payment Structure Under Discussion

Negotiations between Arsenal and RB Leipzig over highly-rated striker Benjamin Šeško are officially underway, with early discussions centering on the structure of a potential deal that could exceed €80 million.
Sources close to the situation confirm that a meeting took place in London earlier this week between club executives, including Leipzig’s Marcel Schäfer and Arsenal’s Andrea Berta, signalling the Gunners’ serious intent to land the Slovenian forward. While Šeško’s release clause is understood to be set north of €80 million, it remains uncertain whether Arsenal can commit to the full package upfront.
The North London club is currently exploring creative payment options to make the deal viable within their financial framework. Talks remain at a preliminary stage, but there is growing optimism that a compromise could be reached.
Despite the strong focus on Šeško, Arsenal continue to keep tabs on Sporting CP’s Victor Gyökeres, who remains a priority target. For now, however, all eyes are on Leipzig’s No. 30, as the Gunners look to bolster their attacking options ahead of a pivotal summer.
Further developments are expected in the coming days as negotiations progress.
