Mathare MP Anthony Alouch still missing, panic gripping Azimio MPs and MCA’s.

Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch who was being held at Kiambu Police Station has been moved to Karuri police station after his family discovered and planned to visit him.

The MP who has been on the frontlines with demonstrators in Mathare Constituency and Azimio rallies has been rubbing the DCI the wrong way.

The DCI claim in a previous demonstration, he tampered with number plates of a vehicle to conceal it from police surveillance cameras on Nairobi highways during demonstrations that caused losses running into millions of shillings in eastlands Nairobi.

During those demonstration a dozen police officers got wounded and a firearm stolen. The Police claim the car was carrying goons and Azimio affiliated journalists with an agenda to destabilise the government.

The MP was arrested by police on Thursday evening while he was fuelling his car at a petrol station near Nakumatt Junction on Ngong Road. The Police are accusing the MP of mobilising youths to cause the chaos witnessed in parts of the capital city, he is expected to be charged on Monday.

Nairobi MP’s and MCA’s affiliated to ODM are worried that they might be next, some have shut their phones and disappeared from the city. Notably Nairobi ODM Chairman George Aladwa phones have been off fearing the new dreaded police unit that is kidnapping legislators.

Other Legislators who have been arrested are Kitusuru MCA Alvin Olando who’s whereabouts are unknown, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi whereabouts unknown, Embakasi MP Babu Owino was re-arrested under police custody in Kilimani.

Another affiliate of Azimio who is missing is Mungiki Leader Maina Njenga. Maina Njenga was arrested by police win lower Matasia in Ngong and taken to an undisclosed location. The family said he was in his father’s house when police in unmarked Subaru’s arrived at about 8pm and arrested him.The officers said they wanted to question him over ongoing anti-government protests in the country.

The police are also hunting for Nairobi Majority Leader Peter Imwatok who has gone into hiding.
