Trucha coached Leopards for a month in December 2020 but left the country after alleging that his life was indanger. Trucha will  be deputised by a former Ingwe player Fred Ambani  While the goalkeeping department  will be under another club legend   Haggai Azande as goalkeeper trainer.

Trucha has his work well cut out considering AFC is yet to register a win this season. The tactician will be leading the charges against Bandari in the port city of Mombasa next weekend.

Their last match was the 2-0 loss to Gor Mahia in the Mashemeji derby last weekend.

The 13 times champions have been firing blanks and are yet to win a match this season and are ranked 17th in the 18-team table with a paltry four points something that the new coach would wish to bring to an end.

AFC Leopards Secretary General Gilbert Andugu has assured Ingwe fans that they have inserted a favourable exit clause in Trucha’s contract to avert any future Fifa tussle.

“We have brought in Trucha and have put a favourable exit clause to avert the Fifa tussle which has seen clubs pay dearly when contracts are terminated,” said Andugu
