Former Kakamega county gubernatorial aspirant on Jubilee party Madam Marble Muruli has passed on.
Confirming the sudden loss, Joseph Muruli the brother to the departed said her sister passed on after what was feared to be Covid 19 related symptoms.
In 2017, Marble Muruli a USA based business lady contested the Kakamega gubernatorial seat on Jubilee party and narrowly lost to Governor Oparanya.
Kakamega county boss Governot Ambetsa Oparanya has mourned the passing on of Madam Muruli terming her as hardworking woman who was dedicated to serving the community.
Kakamega county has experienced an upsurge in Covid 19 cases leading to the closure of the county assembly.
Kakamega county chief of staff Mr Sumba had earlier on passed on in what was also feared to be Covid 19 related symptoms.
