www.goodmorningkenya.com caught up with Wakili James Mochere who opened up on his belief on the viability of Hon Mudavadi’s ascension to the highest seat on the land and his ability to help restore Kenya’s dwindling economic fortunes.
Who is Mr James Mochere?
Wakili James as he is fondly known within the legal fraternity is an accomplished lawyer based in Nairobi.
Wakili is a proud alumni of the prestigious Kenyatta university where he studied sociology before proceeding to India’s Allahabad, the university where he studied law.
James has served the nation in different fields where he served the national police service as an investigator, a probation officer before plunging into a private venture where he is currently running his city’s law firm.
Mr. Mochere hails from West Mogirangu in Nyamira county but he has settled in the city where he proudly calls his second home.
‘’ I have been in this city for over 30 years and I can proudly say that I understand the political terrain pretty well enough to enable me to plunge into the city politics with ease’’ Says Mochere.
Why Mudavadi is the safest bet for the top job..
‘’Mudavadi singlehandedly crafted the NASA dream which captured the dream of Kenyans. He showed his selflessness by letting Hon Raila fly the flag while he took over the task of campaign manager. Mudavadi is composed, approachable, reliable, independent and whenever he gives his views on topical issues, he does it with composure and precision where he does not only point out at what is ailing the nation but goes a step further to suggest practical solution to the raised issues’’ Mochere says of Mudavadi.

While challenging ANC leaders to work together in supporting the party and Hon Mudavadi for the presidency, Wakili James did not mince his words.
‘’A good leader transforms weakness into strength for the common good of the party and the nation at large. As Mudavadi foot soldiers, we should stand firm and speak against political cannibalism where fellow leaders within the party ranks at times feel threatened by fellow leaders. Let us all pull together and ensure we paint Nairobi luminous green as we push Mudavadi to the highest seat on the land.’’
