Red hot Eng Michael Olunga on Besiktas radar from Kashiwa Reysol.

Harambee stars striker Michael Olunga has been linked with a sensational move to Turkey, with giants Besiktas hot on the heels of the 26-year old.

Olunga’s sterling performances have particularly attracted interest in Europe, with Besiktas, who finished last season in third place in the Turkey Super Ligue Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin is keen on bolstering his squad ahead of the new season and Olunga is a player whom he believes might suit the team’s playing style.

Olunga has an incredible goal per game ratio, netting an impressive 42 goals in 52 appearances for Kashiwa Reysol. Currently Olunga has 8 goals out of 9 matches so far.

Besiktas are reportedly willing to part ways with 1 million Euros (about KSh115 million) for his services. The former Gor Mahia forward started his international career in Sweden at IF Djurgardens before eventually moving to the Spanish La Liga with Girona FC where he also scored some crucial goals.

Besiktas’ current striking options revolve around Jeremain Marciano Lens, 32 and American international Tyler Dominic Boyd, whose numbers in front of goal are not exactly prolific
