Alex Kidake to be the guest of honor at Hamisi Constituency Ngf season finale as Ford Kenya take roots in Vihiga.

Vihiga county politics are at an all-time high as candidates traverse the vast county selling their manifesto in readiness for 2022.

The county boosts of several political parties that are fighting to have a slice of the over 25000 registered voters behind them to enable them sail through during the forthcoming elections.

With Anc’s presidential flag bearer for 2022 coming from Vihiga, it gives the party stalwarts an upper hand in seeking to seize total control of the county but both ODM, Ford Kenya led by Sen Wetangula, and PPK of the former governor Moses Akaranga are both re-energized and ready to fight it out.

The entry of a Nairobi based businessman Mr. Alex Kidake into the gubernatorial race and specifically his choice of Ford Kenya as the vehicle of choice has breathed a new lease of life in Ford Kenya.

The party is now well-positioned given that it’s only elected member of parliament in Vihiga county Hon Gimose of Hamisi constituency enjoys a massive following in his home constituency and beyond and has a superb working relationship with Mr. Kidake.

Ford Kenya is currently banking on the tried and tested expertise of the two-term Hamisi Mp Hon Gimose and the astuteness and great mobilization skills of Mr. Kidake to change the fortunes of the party ratings in the county.

“The Hamisi NGF soccer finale will bring together many young sportsmen who besides winning several cash prizes will have an opportunity to be selected to join some of the established soccer teams both within our county and far. We intend to use the same to help endear our party of Ford Kenya to the multitude who will be in attendance. The Simba party is one of the oldest political parties still standing and we want to ensure it grows even bigger. So far we have received several aspirants who are ready to fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming elections in 2022.” said Kidake.

As the curtains fall on Hamisi NGF soccer tournament, all eyes and focus will be on the forthcoming Kidake Challenge cup which has attracted over 200 teams across Vihiga county. Many teams have signed up for the challenge cup that is going to have one of the biggest ever monetary rewards besides linking up upcoming players with established soccer power houses around the country and even beyond.

Mr Kidake has again urged all leaders and residents of Vihiga county to think outside the box in working out ways through which the great county of Vihiga can move forward.
