Gor Coach Sammy Pamzo Afraid of pacy Algerians ahead of Wednesday duel.

Gor Mahia stand in coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo is a worried man ahead of his club’s return match encounter with Belouizdad of Algeria.

Kogallo suffered a humiliating defeat in Algiers and it will be an uphill task to overturn the deficit.

“It will not be easy for us. Those boys know why they are in this competition and their pace is scary in all departments’’, said Omollo.

Belouizdad arrived in the country on Monday and trained at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani before a scheduled light training at the Nyayo National Stadium on Tuesday, ahead of the Wednesday duel.

Gor Players not yet paid their dues

As the day of the match draws near, there is anxiety in Gor’s camp with cries of delayed salaries and grumbling from the players.

Kagallo players are yet to receive salaries and even allowances accrued from their Algiers trip yet to be settled.

However, Gor Mahia’s chairman Ambrose Rachier has moved in to calm the waters stating that the players will be paid today on Monday.

By the time of going to press, the players had not yet received their monies.

”We are waiting for our sponsor to release funds to enable us sort our players.We all know that our players travelled over the holidays to Algeria and never had time with their families. When they came back we gave them four days rest and join their families albeit late. No player is on a go-slow,” said Rachier.
