UNCERTAINTY IN THE DEN AS INGWE COACH IS ROMORED TO BE ON HIS WAY OUT SIGHTING ALLEGED INTERFERENCE FORM NEC.

Trouble is looming in the den as usual turbulence associated with the club knock on the doors of the 13 times champions.

Despite the sweet victory by Afc leopards over Tusker in their league opener,  uncertainty is looming with a  very dark cloud hovering around the coach and some senior players.

A celebrated soccer commentator Fred Arocho was the first to let the cat out of the bag on what could be bedeviling AFC leopards.

Taking to his social media, Arocho in a brief post but with far-reaching consequences wrote…

Turbulence in the Den!

AFC Leopards head coach contemplating to resign, sighting interference!

The brief post on Fb seemed to have opened a pandora’s box with ingwe fans jamming his timeline with several allegations and counter-allegations.

Whereas some of the fans had some harsh words on the bearer of the bad news, a good number of them seemed to understand a thing or two on what could be choking the leopard.

A former club player and one-time coach who we will not name for his statement/views could not be independently verified was straight hitting accusing some remarkable club ‘’ agent’’ for exerting undue pressure on the technical bench to the field and or sign some players.

Interference from club self-proclaimed agent by the name Prince and Co. That one I know. You can’t force players into a coach’s throat. A coach should do his work independently. That Agent must go…..

Some of the foreign legions of players that were signed did not get an opportunity to kick the ball even as the coach heavily relied on local talent.

Harold Munanga a fan opined thus..

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣that office is in its work as usual let them force him to do what they want then he goes back where he came from, basilo sana

This news has kept ingwe faithful talking for the better part of this  afternoon even as news of an impending player exodus reached our desk.

‘We are afraid if things don’t go right, some players may leave the club. We were almost going to gift tusker a walkover on Saturday in Kasarani. Our NEC is silent yet our players have gone without salary for some time now, the mystery surrounding Duncan Otieno is yet to be unmasked. Our NEC has borrowed heavily and even our sponsor cannot release any money to the club until March at the earliest. We are actually in a fuliza mode’’ lamented a branch chairman who did not wish to be named for fear of retribution.

Our efforts to reach the club treasurer to get a clear view of the financial situation proved futile as our calls went unanswered. However, we spoke to club Chairman Dr. Shikanda and he was equally surprised that such news was flying around but promised to give a clear picture of how things are in the den. By the time publishing this story, the chairman yet to give a clear picture.
