Hon. Osotsi: 40 out of 51 Luhya Mps cannot be wrong, wind of change is sweeping across Luhyaland.

Hon Godfrey Osotsi has added his voice on the luhya unity debate that has gained momentum of late.

Speaking today during a live interview on a local media station, Hon Osotsi said the 40Mps who met at Atwoli’s place over the weekend should not be ignored.

“The Mulembe Nation has about 51 Mps both elected and nominated in the senate and National assembly plus 4governors. These numbers are drawn from Busia, Bungoma,Vihiga, Kakamega Trans Nzoia and Nairobi counties.

When you see such numbers congregate at any event, dont take them for granted. The Luhya nation is unapologetically marching to the national table where issues of National importance are taking credence.

We shall not be distracted by a handfull of Tanga Tanga leaning Mps from western who are just about 11. Our train has left the station and one is either with the majority or with the minority” Osotsi said.

In a rebuttal to the Atwoli led meeting in Kajiado, some Luhya Mps led by Hon Mudavadi and Hon Wetangula met at Karen home of Hon Wetangula and condemned the Kajiado meeting and termed it as a machination by Raila and his “side kick” Atwoli to divide luhyas.

The gathering that comprised of majorly Anc and Fk Mps with Jubilee’s Tanga Tanga allied mps. This conglomeration has sent mixed signals and a majority now see the outfit as Ruto’s and their outfit as Raila’s.

“Those who met at Karen are basically Tanga Tanga brigade in Luhya land. When you see Hon Washiali and Hon Didmus look no further” Hon Caleb Amisi of Sabot said sentiments that were also echoed by Osotsi.

Odm’s leader Raila Odinga is yet to respond to the accusation leaving it to his party sg Sifuna to respond.

Pundits opine that Raila is fully focused on BBI and he wont be distracted by political sideshows.

“Baba will not respond to such noise though the pinch is real, he is busy on issues of national importance. Luhyas should sort their internal wrangles without inviting Raila in them.

What happens in Fk or Anc or any other party for that matter does not concern us, Wapambane na hali yao ” Hon Mbadi said during a K24 interview.

On his part, Cotu sg Francis Atwoli in a tweet said.
“We are happy that Luhyas have seen it in broad daylight. Those for Kieleweke and those for Tanga Tanga.”
This was in referrence to the Karen meeting that has been tagged as Tanga Tanga.
