My plane has taken off and there is no turning back as I seek to succeed Dr Otichilo as the next governor for Vihiga county declares Aladwa

.

Makadara MP Hon George Aladwa has dropped the gauntlet  by declaring his resolve to win the Vihiga governorship in 2027.

During his whirlwind tour of Vihiga county that saw him visit Emuhaya sub county and Vihiga sub county, the maverick politician declared that the time to unite and work for the great people of Vihiga was now.

Speaking in Emuhaya’s Esirulo village during the burial of Moses Milemba brother to area MP Omboko Milemba, Aladwa urged Vihigans to remain steadfast and shun politics of hate and division.

“As we lay our brother Moses Milemba to rest, I wish also to take this opportunity  to urge our people here in Vihiga to shun cheap politics aimed at dividing us. Both Omboko and I have declared interest in the governors  seat. We have been going around selling  our candidature with deep respect for one another. I believe by God’s grace I will emerge the winner in 2027. I want all our supporters to remain disciplined and united. We all mean well for Vihiga.” said Aladwa.

Aladwa caused prolonged laughter when he said that all those who have declared interests should not chicken out but hang in there and face him on the ballot.

“I want to challenge everybody who has declared interest not to chicken out. You cannot   go to the shower then run away by saying that the water is cold, “maji ukiyavulia ngumi Sharti  uoge ” Iam ready to teach them a lesson on the ballot in 2027.

The burial was attended by Sabatia MP Hon Slots Clement, Luanda MP Hon Duck MAUNGU and Vihiga Senator Hon Osotsi who is also ODM deputy party leader.

This morning, I attended the annual main conference of the Chavakali yearly meeting of Friends at Viyalo Friends Church in Chavakali Ward, Sabatia Subcounty. The gathering was truly uplifting, especially with Ephesians 3:18 in mind: “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”It was a blessed Sunday indeed!
