Let us shun politics of clan, tribe or region-Sen Osotsi to the people of Vihiga.
In a powerful address at a closure of the 28th Annual Conference of the Chavakali Yearly meeting of Friends Church in Viyalo, Sabatia Subcounty, senator Godfrey Osotsi urged Vihigans to unite, emphasizing that the county’s progress depends on the collective efforts of its people.
Speaking at the friends church in Sabatia , Osotsi called for an end to tribal politics, asserting that such divisions have no place in modern Kenya.
“Unity is the only way to liberate our county and nation. With unity, everyone becomes a winner. We must stand together as the people of this great county,” he stated, stressing that a strong and developed county is built when citizens work together.

The senator highlighted the need to move away from backward politics that have hindered the county’s development for too long. He urged Vihigans to support the recently appointed Cabinet, which he believes will steer the country towards progress.
“Let us abandon the politics of regional divisions, politics of who belongs to which political parties, or which tribe,” he continued.
Senator Osotsi also spoke about the importance of unity in supporting former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s bid to become the Chairperson of the AU Commission.
As the nation looks to the future, Senator Osotsi’s call for unity signals a new era for Kenya and Vihiga—one where all citizens have a role to play in building a prosperous and inclusive nation.
