Oparanya meets Bishop Byrum Makokha as Anc Chairman in Vihiga promises to work with him
CoG chairman and Kakamega county boss Hon Oparanya has been on a charm offensive in Vihiga today.
“Today I was privileged to be hosted by Head of Church of God Archbishop Dr Byrum Makokha at his Ibubi home. I briefed him on our agenda to unite all communities in Western region and progress we have made in resuscitating the economy of the region.
We also discussed the role of the church in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, measures and guidelines put in place before reopening of churches. I thank him for giving us his blessings and for his wisdom.In another fb post, Governor Oparanya thanked Anc chairman for choosing to work with him.” Said Oparanya.
“I thank ANC Vihiga County chairman Hon Sikalo Ochiel for his warm welcome at his Emmuli Ebutuku village home.My focus is to bring all leaders from Western region on board as we strategize on the region’s economic recovery plan.” Said Oparanya.
In another update, Oparanya thanked Mr Ochiel for joining hands in his efforts in seeking development for the region.”I welcome the decision by Hon Ochiel to join our development brigade. I held a meeting with Bunyore elders, MCAs, former MCAs among others.” Oparanya wrote
