Zero Show for Ruto and his wife at Beyond zero marathon as DP declares it will not be business as usual
Beyond zero campaign marathon was held on 8/3/2020 in Nairobi. The marathon is the brainchild of the first lady Uhuru Kenyatta and it is aimed at reducing the mortality rate to zero and beyond. Many death are reported during child birth in Kenya.
Since inception, the deputy president Dr Ruto and his wife madam Rachel Ruto have been attending religiously without fail.
This year the two missed the event and their absence was loud especially coming at atime that Ruto is being isolated.
Rachel’s absence means that she is standing in solidarity with his under siege husband and going but Ruto’s sentiments over the weekend, we can only expect it to be messy and noisy in the coming days
