According to independent research done by GMKnews in Kabuchai by-election, www. goomorningkenya.com can confidently report that Evans Kakai is so far ahead of the other competitors in the forthcoming by-election.

Evans Kakai a businessman with a background in accounting and a former KRA commissioner is headed for a big win in this election. He has marshaled his ground troops and by the time we were going for the press, there is no doubt that he will clinch Kabuchai’s seat.

For starters, Evans Kakai is not a novice in the political field, he honed his skills earlier on by participating in organized campaigns in previous elections. He was a major player and in fact a point man for Hon. Musalia Mudavadi in the 2013 general election.

He headed the Mudavadi campaign team in Bungoma County in 2013, thereby enabling hon. Mudavadi and UDF party to win over 107, 868 votes during the hotly contested elections.

Mr. Kakai is a shrewd mobilizer and a person who knows his work well, he knows how to mobilize and organize one-man-one-vote politics. He has been mooting the idea of running for Kabuchai constituency for a very long time now. As they say, politics is a merry go round, you won’t be surprised to know that, despite being busy with other national matters to attend to, he got good resources for Mr. Majimbo Kalasinga who ran on the Jubilee party in the 2017 election. Even with such huge resources at his disposal, Majimbo Kalasinga Joseph Wekesa only managed a paltry 2,686 votes against Mukwe James Lusweti (R.I.P) who garnered 18,485 to clinch the seat on ford Kenya.

Since announcing his desire to run for Kabuchai constituency by-election and subsequently getting the nomination of the UDA party, Evans Kakai has totally disorganized the Ford Kenya empire in Kabuchai Constituency.

Evans Kakai is a strong candidate and word on the street says that the Ford Kenya party leader has never campaigned in Kabuchai constituency in past elections. He had never seen or met a worthy opponent like the one he has today.

The Simba party leader, Hon. Moses Wetangula has been forced to camp in Kabuchai for the first time. This is because Evans Kakai is slated to be the first UDA mp in western Kenya. Mr. Kakai brings to Kabuchai a lot of political knowledge, expertise, and professional experience, unlike Majimbo Kalasinga Joseph Wekesa whose background and professionalism are not known.

Realizing that the Kabuchai constituency by-election might go with Mr. Evans Kakai, Mr. Moses Wetangula and his camp have resorted to a smearing campaign which according to valid insiders, is the only sure way to stop “THE EVANS KAKAI BANDWAGON” that is sweeping like a harrowing flood the entire Kabuchai Constituency with him to the ballot.

The Simba camp or the Moses Wetangula camp in a bid to cordon off their territory they have decided to christen Mr. Evans Kakai with a name from the Maragoli community trying to symbolize him as an outsider. They have called him Adagala. To those who don’t get it, Adagala is a famous name in the Maragoli community.

Mr. Kakai while responding to the subverts, who are keen on unsettling his fan base said that ” Why would they call me Adagala just because I supported and campaigned for the hon. Musalia Mudavadi in the 2013 presidential bid. Yes, I have no regret for working with Hon. Musalia Mudavadi in 2013, it was the best decision for me considering he was the only brother on the presidential ballot.”

” While I was campaigning for him, the ford Kenya camp was busy pushing the Cord agenda, as an individual, I managed to get over a hundred votes with the UDF party in Bungoma county. Now that they are working with Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, should I also look for a Maragoli name and baptize them? This is cheap politics from a scared Ford Kenya camp. We are on the ground and march 4th will show who is who in the Kabuchai constituency” Said Mr. Kakai.

The incoming legislator has told the Simba camp to prepare for a bruising battle even as he looks forward to victory. The UDA candidate told GMKnews that, he has no doubt because victory is on his side. He has received massive support from MCas and sitting MPs from the county and many of them are bidding for his success. He told the people of Kabuchai to remain calm and peaceful as victory is on their side. They should shun violence and campaign peacefully for victory is on his side.

Mr. Kakai has received backing from all the surrounding constituency MPs, unlike Kalasinga who only has the company of Wetangula and Wanyama and Chris Wamalwa both of whom come from Trans Nzoia county.

Will a Kakai will finally bring down the Wetangula reign in Bungoma? time will tell.
