United Democratic Alliance Secures Decisive By-Election Victory in Kenya

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has recorded a decisive and historic victory in the just-concluded by-elections, reaffirming the growing confidence of citizens in its leadership, vision and development agenda for Kenya.
UDA warmly thanks all Kenyans who turned out on 26 February 2026 to exercise their constitutional and democratic right to elect their leaders. The turnout and the results clearly demonstrate the trust voters continue to place in the party and its candidates, delivering a resounding and politically commanding victory over rival formations.
The party congratulates Tubi Mohamed Tubi for his election as Member of Parliament for Isiolo South, alongside Eliphas Kainanga. UDA also congratulates Duncan Muratia Nyaga, Peterson Njeru Njiru, and their fellow candidates for their victories in West Kabras, Evurore, and Muminji, respectively.
This clean sweep across all the elective seats on offer stands as powerful testimony to the deep trust that voters continue to repose in UDA, its party leadership and its reform-driven programme. The outcome reflects a clear shift in public thinking towards politics that focus on practical solutions, economic empowerment and the transformation of livelihoods, rather than divisive rhetoric and policy-light debate.
The results send an unmistakable national message: Kenyans are increasingly rejecting politics centred on noise, empty promises and personality-driven contestation. Instead, they are choosing leadership grounded in clear policy direction, accountability and inclusive development.
The by-elections further affirm growing public confidence in the implementation of the UDA manifesto and its broader socio-economic agenda, which seeks to accelerate national development, strengthen social inclusion and restore dignity to communities across the country.
On behalf of the party, UDA reiterates that it will remain focused on delivering its commitments and will not be drawn into unproductive political exchanges that detract from service delivery and policy implementation.
In a statement issued by the Secretary General, Hassan Omar Hassan, the party once again thanked the people of Isiolo, West Kabras, Evurore and Muminji for their overwhelming support and for choosing a future anchored on progress, unity and sustainable development.
