The bell has rung and those with presidential ambitions are strategically positioning themselves for a stab in 2022.
The Anc party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi is not an exception. He has set his sails and currently, he is wooing voters across the country.
Cognizant of the value the youth add to this nation, Mudavadi has deliberately chosen to work with youthful politicians across the nation to help him achieve his dream of leading this nation after the current president retires. One such young leader is Hon Gikuru Symon.
Who is Gikuru Symon.?
Symon Gikuru or simply Wakili is a young city lawyer who hails from the Mount Kenya region. He is also a life member of the Anc party who propounds much love for Mudavadi who he considers a mentor and a sober politician fit to lead this nation.

‘’ As a young Kenyan, I have been following the politics of Hon Mudavadi for some time. His calm and sober approach to issues of national importance and his grasp of economic affairs endeared me to his party and here I am ready and pushing the Mudavadi agenda across the nation’’ Said Gikuru.
The young lawyer has so far helped market Musalia Mudavadi’s bid in central Kenya organizing several meetings that the party leader has graced. By so doing, Gikuru believes this will help Kenyans understand the potential that Mudavadi has.
Over the weekend, Wakili Gikuru led a team of political heavyweights from Mt Kenya to Mudavadi’s Nairobi offices where the leaders promised to keep pushing the party’s agenda in Mt Kenya besides ensuring Mudavadi succeeds President Kenyatta as the 5th president of Kenya.
The young lawyer has exhibited high standards of leadership and especially the way he has been carrying himself around. This has led to several quarters within Anc party vouching for him to become the next secretary-general.
‘’ We want this party to be led by young and vibrant leaders, as a member, I don’t see any reason to why Gikuru should not assume the vacant office of the secretary-general considering his youthfulness, a sound grasp of current affairs and besides, he is coming from the central region which will go along way give our party that much need national appeal’’ a member of NEC who did not wish to be named was quoted.
Gikuru has faithfully been attending all party functions presided over by Hon Mudavadi. During the launch of ANC’S BBI signature collections exercise at Amani House, Mr. Gikuru moved the gathering with his well-delivered speech where he challenged all Kenyans to tap into Mudavadi’s wealth of experience necessary for guiding this nation to greater heights.
‘’2021 is beckoning and as ANC members from the Mt Kenya region we wish to invite our party leader to criss-cross the mountain and ensure that the region is locked for the party’’ said the lawyer as he led his team in wishing Mudavadi a happy festival.
