I am still serving my mandate as Kileleshwa ward MCA, ignore any other rumors says Hon. Elias Otieno Amadi.

Kileleshwa Ward MCA Hon Elias Otieno Amadi has moved to disquiet rumors that he is will be leaving his position as area MCA.

Speaking exclusively to www.goodmorningkenya news, the long-serving member of the Nairobi county assembly said that his resolve to serve the great people of Kileleshwa remains a priority for now.

” Some very remarkable people are spreading propaganda that I am quitting city politics to go vie elsewhere, I listen to such people and wonder what they are up to. I have built my long political career here in the city and besides, the great people of Kileleshwa have honored me by electing me to serve them as their area MCA for three terms uninterrupted. I am therefore dedicated to serving them and I won’t be swayed by the propagandists’ Hon Amadi said.

Hon Amadi is currently serving his third term as area MCA and many political observers had started agitating for change and some had even insinuated that he could be going to contest the Suna East MP seat currently held by ODM’s Hon Junet Mohamed.

Being a native of Migori’s Suna East constituency, the Kileleshwa ward MCA has an elaborate grassroots network that should he think of running for a seat there, he would give Hon Junet a run for his money. It is against this backdrop that Hon Amadi has spoken openly and dedicated his energy and time in serving as a member of the Nairobi County assembly until the end of the current term.

” Don’t ask me about 2022, we don’t know what God has planned for us, nobody knows what will happen tomorrow. Let’s leave all that to God and instead focus on what God has enabled us to do for now which is serving the great people of Kileleshwa ward’ added Hon Amadi.

Speaking on the just launched BBI report, Hon Amadi reiterated his steadfast support for the handshake and the building bridges initiative. He says that the president Hon Uhuru Kenyatta and the Rt Hon Raila Odinga have Kenya’s best interest at heart.

” We should all read and internalize the just released BBI report because it has very progressive articles that when implemented Kenya shall never again return to the dark old days of election violence. I am carefully reading the document and will soon hit the road to help my Kileleshwa ward people understand the contents as we wait for a possible referendum next year” Hon Amadi said.
