Kakamega Homeboyz owner and Chairman Cleophas Shimanyula alias Toto has once again lashed at Fkf president Nick Mwendwa over mismanagement of soccer in Kenya.
Bad blood between Nick Mwendwa and Toto started when Nick declared Gor Mahia the 2019-2020 season Champions. This declaration did not go down well with the Homeboyz owner who believed that it was early to award Gor the title.
Speaking on radio jambo, Shimanyula did not have kind words for Nick Mwendwa who he termed as an embodiment of everything wrong in Kenyan soccer.
“When Nick was elected, we thought as a young man he would steer our soccer to greater heights but we were wrong. Mwendwa converted his Kariobangi fc team into Harambee stars. Infact the K Sherks goalkeeper has conceaded the most goals for Harambee stars” said Shimanyula.
The Kakamega Homeboyz fc boss further took issue with Radio jambo for what he called “a PR station ” meant to sanitize Mwendwa’s mediocrity.
“Hii nugu ndio imeharibu mpira ya Kenya na kila mara anakimbia radio jambo ndio adanganye wakenya. hakuna kitu Mwendwa amefanya isipokuwa kuongea sauti kama mama” ( Mwendwa has spoilt soccer and whenever he blunders he runs to Radio Jambo to help sanitize his mediocrity. Apart from speaking like a woman, Mwendwa has done nothing)
Shimanyula also added that Mwendwa declared Gor champions just to save his Kariobangi team from relegation.
