What would happen if you were Akothee? Imagine waking up and finding women and children at your door? Imagine your daughter waking you up ,that there are a bunch of women and children outside the gate , saying they want food.
What would go through your mind? That the story of Akothee. First she thought, but why come to my home this early, then she remembered, ” you cant sleep on an empty stomach” and she cant stand seing people suffer hunger.
The families were at her gate as early as 6.00 am , with the heavy rains they wanted food. Akothee didnt debate much with them, she went into her house shared with them what she had and ordered for more unga.
She said, ” I could not chase them away or pretend like I am asleep but i knew my heart will not be at peace if I didn’t do something “
