Developing story: Uhuru grabs Jubilee party from William Ruto!

Things have gone totally wrong in the ruling party. There is no coming together again as the Sg of the party publishes changes in the management of the party against a backdrop of protest from a section of William Ruto supporters. They had recently petitioned the registrar of political parties not to effect the changes but their petition seems to have fallen on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Reports now indicate there is a section of Jubilee mps who have been invited to state house in the coming week to meet the president for briefing. The list includes mps who don’t support the Tanga Tanga wing of the movement. These mps are about 58 from a possible 216 mps who form jubilee party. The rest are excluded from state house visit.

This comes as President Uhuru Kenyatta grabs the ruling Jubilee Party from William Ruto by kicking out party officials whose allegence is to Deputy President William Ruto and subsequently replacing them with his cronies despite heated protest from men and women allied to the second man in chain of power.

The current deputy president together with his supporters in parliament had staged objections to halt the changes but Sg Tuju disregarded them and went a head to publish the names of the new officials.

What next for Dr Ruto & his opposite team? Good morning Kenya has established that his camp plans to move to court to battle for the control of the ruling party.

The Sg Tuju published the following names as the new party officials. 1. Ms Lucy Nyaguthii Macharia 2. Prof Marete Marangu 3. Kitutu Masaba MP Walter Nyambati 4. Ms Jane Nampaso 5. Mr James Waweru.

So far the Deputy president has not spoken but as a strategist, sources believe he is up to something because if he doesn’t then it will simply mean he is party less at the moment. His people, have been removed from leadership and going by nature of our politics, he who pays the piper calls the shots.
