This sad incident happened on Friday 24th April at 2045hrs. Nyayo estate Residents were called out of their homes by a lady screaming and a gentleman was found half dressed chasing a lady in the parking lot.
The duo were stopped to find out what the issue was only to realise the gentleman’s back and part of his right arm had the skin peeling off as a result of severe burns.
The couple had started an argument at home which ended up in a physical fight that also involved the lady’s sister. The lady’s sister poured hot water on the man, scalding his back and arm.
Neighbours took the man to RFH within Nyayo where first aid was administered, 35min later he was transfered to their main hospital in Ruai. On closer inspection he was found with a stab wound on his thigh but penetration was not deep due to the jeans he had on.
The matter was reported the at the Embakasi police and due to the Covid-19 issue, they only detain attempted -murder suspects.
The wife and sister were compelled to report to te station everyday till the case takes its course.
The suspect left the station at 1am.
The gentleman underwent surgery on Saturday and is still admitted at RFH Ruai.
