Throughout Governor Sakaja’s campaign, his campaign message was all along tailored towards making Nairobi work both for the young and the old.

Himself an artist and a city dweller having been raised, schooled and hustled in the city before plunging into politics as TNA chairman, nominated MP and elected senator, Govn Sakaja has a clearer view of what Nairobi need hence his slogan, “make Nairobi work”.

A working Nairobi will mean a better life for the over 4 Million dwellers and an improved lifestyle for all.

One such avenue for opening up Nairobi for economical expansion is the well thought out Nairobi festival.

Nairobi being both the commercial and administrative capital for Nairobi presents a portal for young and upcoming talents to show what Nairobi is made of.

Designed to coincide with Jamuhuri day, the Nairobi festival will provide a once in a lifetime opportunity for Nairobi to show what it is made up of.

It’s about the vibe, the people, our culture, it’s about the positioning and how to sell to the world. From 12th-17th of December and every year from this year, we are going to be coming together to showcase who we are,” Governor Sakaja said.

Dubbed as the London of East Africa, Nairobi under the able leadership of governor Johnson Sakaja will showcase talents from all the 17 sub counties of Nairobi which has very rich and diverse cultural background that reflect on Kenyas ethnical diversity.This is one festival that you dont want to miss.

Over 50 artists are lined up to perform in an event that will mark the opening of the newly refurbished Uhuru park. This is a project that was undertaken by Gen Badi under NMS.
