Lawyer Donald Kipkorir President Museveni Kaguta deserves accolades on how he has managed the Covid-19 Pandemic

President Kaguta Museveni has won praises on his approach on the war on covid 19.

Whenever he steps appears behind the microphone to speak East Africa stands still. His delivery is humorous and fatherly.

City lawyer Donold Kipkorir was all praises to president Museveni. He took to his twitter and wrote.

“This COVID-19 has made us see a humorous & comforting side of President Museveni of Uganda…. His COVID-19 Press Conferences can only compare to those of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo … They are fatherly & comforting… And both are done in a laid back & lazy manner.” wrote the lawyer.

Museveni has also dismissed the west for saying Africans will die in large numbers of covid 19.

“Don’t say that because the virus is spreading in Europe, it’ll also spread here. I don’t like that “monkeyrism”. We are living a totally different life. Analyse your own situation! ” Museveni said.

On bank loans Museveni had this to say.

President Museveni: On the issue of loans, we are going to discuss with the banks to see how to help the people, not to pay the loans for them but I don’t support the banks confiscating their property.

On police brutality the C in C said.
“For those beating soldiers. You beat me, a soldier, how? I will beat you until you are subdued. Then I arrest you. What we do not want is police men with Kiboko. Even cows, we no longer use sticks to look after them.”~ President Museveni said.

The government has decided to keep the stay home decision for another 21 days starting tomorrow April 15 tomorrow to May 05, 2020. This is meant to allow us study the situation longer. All previous measures still stand,” Mr Museveni said.

The President further noted that although only 54 samples have tested positive out of the total 5,664 samples tested, it is too early to rule that Uganda is not free from the deadly virus.

“It is safer to go another 21 days than to stop prematurely. If there is anything it will come up during these 21 days. If it does not come up, we will say we tried our best. The 54 found positive might not be the only ones. The way they were found was tedious, so the lockdown extension is justified so we can find more and treat them,”

Uganda has extended the lockdown for another 21 days.
Ugandans so far have lauded the president’s efforts
