We are calling upon our ODM Mps from the Mulembe nation namely Senator Sifuna, Hon Aladwa of Makadara,Hon Wanyonyi of Westlands and Hon Elachi of Dagoretti North to prevail upon ODM and by extension Azimio to consider Hon Stazo for the post of majority leader. Stazo has proven that he is loyal and steadfast in pushing party ideals. Even when Sonko was buying off other ODM MCA’s Stazo stood firm” Former Nairobi Liquor board chairman Vincent Shimoli said.

The same sentiments were also echoed by several ODM elected MCA’s.

“We believe that Stazo will offer the much needed leadership in the county assembly. Having served with him in the last assembly, we have no doubt he will make an excellent majority leader

said some of the elected MCAs who did not wish to be named so as not to be seen as pre empting issues.

“Our interest was to have Hon Tim Wanyonyi as governor, Azimio saw it wise to bring Igathe and we accepted. This time round, we hope Raila will reward us by having our youthful son Stazo become the majority leader. As a community we delivered 9 MCAs to ODM plus 4MPs in Nairobi, this calls for some sort of appreciation by way of having Stazo as majority leader” Mzee James Akwabi said
