Did Mudavadi allow Ruto to attend Malala cup event in Mumias?


The unxpected presence of DP Ruto at the Malala super cup at the Mumias sports complex has kept Kenyans talking.

Just before the event. Kakamega senator Cleophas Malalah had issued stern warnings to Azimio brigade led by Dr Atwoli that Bukhungu convention will not hold untill they (organizers) sought clearance from Musalia Mudavadi.

The utterances received mixed reactions from a section of pro Bukhungu 2 convention. They told off Malala and the event took off without any hiccups.

As the Azimio brigade was declaring total support for Raila Odinga, at Mumias Sports Complex barely 32KM away, the chief hustle was attending an event which promoted many Kenyans to ask did he (Ruto) seek clearance from Mudavadi?

Is Ruto working with Mudavadi?

Malala warmly embraced the  hustler team giving the clearest indications that ANC’s supremo was gravitating towards the Hustler nation.

It should not escape many that  LSK president Nelson Havi who had once indicated his willingness to vie for Westlands constituency on ANC but he is now Ruto’s bossom buddy and a Hustler defender.

While at Mumias, the Malala/Ruto team was busy bashing the Azimio brigade which was also returning favor from Bukhungu.

To many political observers, Ruto’s preaence at the Malala event was the clearest indication that a Ruto/Mudavadi ticket was underway.

DId Mudavadi approve Ruto’s visit while at the same time castigating Raila’s?

Speaking in Mumias, the deputy president was candid enough and mentioned that he was in Mumias with the full blessing of Mudavadi.

“I want to thank Cleophas Malala for organizing the Super Cup. I’ve seen the talent here and I want to thank you all once again. As a hustler, I will help you in this endeavour.”
“I also want to thank Musalia Mudavadi for helping Malala to establish the tournament. I know Malala has been wondering why I arrived unannounced. Just know that there’s a league that Musalia plays that you are not there yet. Musalia Mudavadi gave me permission to attend this event, so don’t worry,” Ruto said.
