“Luhyas will not trust Ruto with their votes” MP Osotsi declares.
National Assembly member who is also aspiring to be the next Vihiga county senator Hon Godfrey Osotsi has categorically discounted the notion that Luhyas will vote for DP Ruto.
Speaking in a local radio station, Hon Osotsi said that Luhyas are still hurting going by the inhumane treatment they have suffered under Ruto.
Mheshimiwa Osostsi dispensing the truth about the Luhya-Kalenjin relationship. The Kalenjin community was responsible for Prof Laban Ayiro’s woes, Teresia Akeng’a and Kevin Okwara.

“The race for 2022 is shaping up and it is no longer a secret that it is going to be a two horse race. Faced with this harsh reality, I would urge my people to come out in large numbers and vote for Rt Hon Raila Odinga. Luhyas are better of with Raila than Ruto” Osotsi said.
The law maker went further and lamented how Luhya professionals were hounded out of office giving example of how Prof Laban Ayiro was unceremoniiusly ejected from Moi university as Ruto’s henchmen led by Oscar Sudi cheered on.
“Prof Laban Ayiro’s only mistake was being a luhya. When Oscar Sudi mobilised troops to eject him Ruto remained silent.We also remember how Hon Kevin Okwaro despite winning the Turbo Jubilee seat, the deputy president despite being in Jubilee, led an underground campaign against Okwaro simply because Okwaro was a luhya.Do I need to add the sad story of how Ruto grabbed Adrian Muteshi’s land? Mzee Muteshi died an impoverished man having spent all his monies fighting Ruto over his shamba. Do you want to say that this is a man who love luhyas and has their interests at heart? The first time legislator has also promised to do his best in articulating issues that affect the people of Vihiga county once elected as their second senator.
The Vihiga county seat is technically vacant after the incumbent Hon Khaniri George declared his interest for Vihiga governorship.
Others battling out with Hon Osotsi to replace Khaniri as Vihiga senator include James Babira, Kibwareng ward MCA in Nandi county Hon Jackson Swadi among others.
